Our packaging is crafted from plastic due to its durability, lightness, and its effectiveness in preserving products, thus minimising food waste. While a significant portion of global plastic is not recycled, we are committed to the responsible use of plastic. We aim to ensure all our packaging is recyclable, reduce the use of single-serve containers, and use recycled materials whenever possible, all while adhering to strict food safety standards. We also prioritise maintaining a minimal carbon footprint. We considered switching to cardboard tubs to utilise renewable materials and facilitate home recycling, but found that it would significantly increase our carbon footprint. Therefore, we continue to explore more sustainable options.
